Conor McGregor Claims He’s Back On UFC 200 Card

Conor McGregor has taken to social media once again to claim that he is now back on the UFC 200 card.

“Happy to announce that I am BACK on UFC 200!” McGregor wrote on Twitter. “Shout out to @danawhite and @lorenzofertitta on getting this one done for the fans. #Respect”

The news has so far not been confirmed by the UFC however, and indeed at least one respected journalist has said that sources close to the company appear to be contradicting McGregor’s claim.

“Tap the brakes on Conor’s announcement,” MMAjunkie.com’s John Morgan wrote on Twitter. “Multiple sources I have spoken with so far indicated nothing changed in regard to Conor’s exclusion from UFC 200. Nothing from his team yet.”

McGregor’s latest announcement comes just days after Dana White stated at a UFC 200 press conference in Las Vegas that the Irish superstar would not be fighting at the event due to his refusal to participate in a series of press conferences and other promotional obligations the UFC had planned for that week.

So, it seems that the McGregor Vs UFC power struggle may not be over yet, and if they two parties were able to come to an agreement to keep him on the card it will be very interesting to see who had to back down on their demands in order to get the deal done.
