Conor McGregor Takes Credit For TJ Dillashaw Leaving Team Alpha Male

Conor McGregor has spoken out on social media to claim credit for TJ Dillashaw leaving Team Alpha Male, implying that he planted the seeds for the split while coaching The Ultimate Fighter Season 22 opposite the fight camp’s founder Urijah Faber.

“I predict these things,” the self-titled ‘Mystic Mac’ boasted on Twitter after the news of Dillashaw’s departure first broke. “I just turned two Duds into two draws.”

McGregor was shown on a recently aired episode of TUF 22 on FOX Sports 1 warning Faber that Dillashaw was “a snake in the grass” and said he “sensed disloyalty” in the bantamweight champion.

Given what’s now gone on over the past 24 hours McGregor reckons that he’s now the toast of the UFC brass for potentially helping pave the way for a future fight between ex-training partners Dillashaw and Faber.

“I just know it’s red panty night over at Zuffa right now! #GrudgeMatchOnMeBoys,” McGregor wrote. “Offspring numbers. On the house. I love the business. I am the business.”

For his part, Dillashaw has laughed off McGregor’s comments during an interview on Team Alpha Male Radio.

“It doesn’t help that the Conor McGregor thing is going on in The Ultimate Fighter,” Dillashaw acknowleged. “It’s actually perfect timing. Maybe he is able to read the future [laughs].

“It’s just crazy that some people are thinking I’m [betraying] Team Alpha Male. It’s crazy. I’m just taking an opportunity that’s given to me and I’m just trying to run with it.”
