Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino is reported to be set to return to the Octagon in the main event of UFC Fight Night 95 in Brasilia, Brazil on September 24th.
That’s the word according to Brazilian site UOL, who claim that ‘Cyborg’ will fight against newcomer Lina Lansberg in a 140lb catchweight fight, though the match-up has now yet been confirmed by the promotion.
After many years of banging on the door, ‘Cyborg’ was finally granted the chance to fight in the Octagon against Leslie Smith at UFC 198 in Brazil earlier this year, and not only did she easily claim victory by TKO in just 83 seconds, but she was also the most cheered fighter on the star-studded card.
Her opponent, the 34 year-old Lansberg hails from Sweden and is known as the ‘Elbow Princess’.
Lansberg lost her MMA debut back in December of 2012, but since then she’s gone on a six-fight winning streak, with four of those victories coming by way of TKO.
Still, this is the toughest of UFC debuts for Lansberg, with ‘Cyborg’ also having lost her first ever fight in 2005, but having since gone unbeaten in 17 fights, unleashing a reign of terror along the way with 14 wins coming by way of either TKO or knockout.
