Dan Hardy Vs Amir Sadollah Goes Down At UFC On Fuel TV 5

Given that Dan Hardy is from Nottingham, England it seemed an obvious choice for him to take part in the ‘UFC On Fuel TV 5’ card in the city on September 29th, and it appears that the UFC fully intend to have him on-board.

Sources close to the situation say that ‘The Outlaw’ is being lined up to face Ultimate Fighter Season 7 winner Amir Sadollah at the event where it will likely take on co-main event duties below the previously announced headliner that pits Stefan Struve against Stipe Miocic.

It’s interesting to note that both men have faced Duane ‘Bang’ Ludwig within the last year with contrasting fortunes. Sadollah faced him at a UFC On Versus event last year and was convincingly outpointed by the muay thai fighter, while back in May Hardy claimed a first round ‘Knockout Of The Night’ victory over him that put an end to his recent four-fight losing streak.

Coincidentally, Ludwig has also now been called up to fight at ‘UFC On Fuel TV 5’ where he’ll take on UK fighter Che Mills.
