Dan Henderson Vs Rashad Evans Looks To Be Going Down At UFC 161

Two of the light-heavyweight divisions biggest stars Dan Henderson and Rashad Evans are set to collide at UFC 161 in Winnepeg, Canada on June 15th.

Both fighters are looking to bounce back after dropping decisions in their last Octagon outings.

Henderson lost out by the narrowest of split decision margins to Lyoto Machida at UFC 157 last month which put his title plans on hold, but a win again Evans could catapult him right back into the thick of things.

Meanwhile, Evans dropped a decision to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira earlier in the month at UFC 156, his second defeat in a row so this will be a must-win fight for him.

While it’s not been confirmed yet, it’s possible this fight could serve as the evening’s main event, though flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson has targeted the show as a potential return date for his next title defense if he can recover from a torn shoulder injury in time.
