Derrick Lewis Hilarious And Controversial Post-Fight Quotes At UFC Fight Night 105

Derrick Lewis unleashed a series of memorably quotes in the Octagon and backstage after knocking out Travis Browne in the main event of UFC Fight Night 105, and we’ve got a transcript of the best ones for you below.

Those Body Shots:

“I just gotta do No. 2, that’s all,” Browne stated in his Octagon interview. “It’s not really hurt from the kick. I just got to boo boo.”

“It was more just trying not to s—t on myself,” Lewis elaborated at the post-fight press conference. “I’m holding my gas in and trying to breathe and at the same time I didn’t want to shit on national TV.

“I just eased out a little fart. Tried to clear out my stomach a little bit. Once it did that it was good. Then the second round it came back again, just started bubbling. I was like, ‘I’ve got to end this fight.’”

Travis Browne:

“I just knew I had a bigger heart than him,” Lewis said, before referencing unproven allegations that his opponent had once beat his ex-girlfriend. “He call himself a man, but he likes to put his hands on women. So, forget that guy. I got much more heart than he has. Where’s Ronda Rousey’s fine ass at?”

“I appreciate it,” Lewis stated at the presser when asked if the ref should have finished the fight earlier. “I’ll give him a $1,000 for letting the fight go because I just wanted to get all my anger out on Travis’ face anyway because he likes to hit on women,” Lewis said in reference to the domestic violence accusations in Browne’s past. “I appreciate him for doing that.”

Taking Time Out:

“I need a break. I feel like I just need some time off,” Lewis said after the fight. “I don’t want to hear nothing about not fighting in the next three months. For sure (I was overtrained). Plus, all the training and all the sex I’ve been getting, my body needs some time off.”

Canada:

“Canada! I love you guys. Hey, I’m from Texas, I’m not with all this snow, man, you all can have this s__t.”
