Donald Cerrone Vs Anthony Pettis Confirmed For UFC On FOX 6 In January

January 26th’s ‘UFC On FOX 6’ has been further strengthened by the confirmation of a major lightweight fight between Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis.

This fight has been on the card for some time and in fact at one stage Cerrone and Pettis were being considered as possible coaches for ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ Season 17 before Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen landed the gig.

Both men are currently pushing towards title contention at 155lbs, with Cerrone having gone 6-1 since joining the UFC last year, while former WEC champ Pettis has won his last two fights and has extra momentum because he’s the last mean to have beaten current champion Ben Henderson.

‘UFC On FOX 6’ now looks like being another strong card with a flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson headlining while Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson vs Glover Teixeira has also been confirmed for the live television broadcast.
