A lightweight fight between Donald Cerrone and Rafael Dos Anjos will headline the UFC’s second live event on FOX Sports on Wednesday, August 28th.
After a dominant decision win over KJ Noons last time out, Cerrone will look to continue his latest climb towards the summit of the 155lb division and extend his current 7-2 record inside the Octagon.
While Dos Anjos doesn’t carry the same star power as ‘Cowboy’ he does hold an impressive four-fight unbeaten run with him so taking out a big name opponent is just what he needs at this stage in his career to draw people’s attention to his bid to fight for the title.
The awkwardly titled ‘UFC On FOX Sports 1 #2’ is set to be headlined by Carlos Condit Vs Martin Kampmann, while a female fight between Sara McMann and Sarah Kaufman has also been confirmed for the show today along with TUF 17 winner Kelvin Gustelum Vs Paulo Thiago.
