Dong Hyun Kim TKO’s Takanori Gomi In 90 Seconds At UFC Fight Night 117

‘Maestro’ Dong Hyun Kim took just 90 seconds to TKO Takanori Gomi tonight at UFC Fight Night 117 in Japan.

Round One:

Leg kick from Kim finally breaks the deadlock after 40 seconds of inactivity. He looks to counter over a punch from Gomi. Now a body kick.

Right hand from Kim suddenly drops Gomi out of nowhere. He follows up with another good right hand to his grounded opponent and follows up with a few more strikes to convince the referee that Gomi has had enough, bringing an end to the fight by TKO in just 90 seconds.

This is now Gomi’s fourth first round loss in a row and surely it’s long overdue for the 39-year-old to hang up his gloves, while the 29-year-old Kim picks up the biggest win of his career to date.
