Georges St.Pierre Given Official All-Clear To Compete In MMA Again

Georges St.Pierre’s road back to the Octagon after an MCL operation on his right knee was given a boost today when he was officially given the all-clear by doctor’s to compete in MMA competition.

““I’m now medically cleared to compete in professional mixed martial arts events- Rendez-vous le 17 novembre, @UFC 154, Montréal!!!” an excited GSP wrote on Twitter.

St.Pierre is expected to defend his title against interim champ Carlos Condit at the show.

Of course GSP will know better than anyone that until he sets foot in the Octagon on November 17th that nothing is certain. In October of Last year he was forced to pull out of a fight Condit at UFC 137 after sustaining a knee injury, and then again prior to UFC 143 in February of this year when he damaged his right MCL.

Hopefully it’s third time luckily for the Canadian star now and this fight will finally take place.
