Gray Maynard Vs Joe Lauzon Goes Down At UFC’s End Of Year Show

Gray Maynard and Joe Lauzon will battle it out on the UFC’s end of year show at UFC 155 on December 29th the promotion has announced.

Maynard scraped past Clay Guida by split decision at UFC On FX 4 in his first fight since his back-to-back title battles with Frankie Edgar, and will be hoping that a win over Lauzon can help him get closer to the belt again.

Lauzon finds himself in another signficant bout after producing an impressive third round triangle choke submission over Jamie Varner at UFC On FOX 4 earlier this month.

While undoubtedly talented, Lauzon’s road to a title shot has been hampered by a lack of consistency during his UFC career, but a win over Maynard would certainly help put him on the right track.

Maynard Vs Lauzon will feature on the main card of UFC 155 in Las Vegas which is expected to be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between Junior Dos Santos and Cain Velasquez.
