UFC superstar Georges St.Pierre might have been out injured for much of the past year, but he’s still in demand with blue-chip companies like Google who have him starring in a new commercial for their Nexus 7 tablet.
It’s a tongue-in-cheek ad and it’s actually quite surprising to watch GSP being much more animated and in-your-face than we’ve seen him in the past. It’s a nice change from his normal ‘nice guy’ image, and it seems to be doing trick for Google as in just a couple of days the video already has close to a quarter of a million views via YouTube.
St.Pierre is currently continuing his rehabilitation after knee surgery and it all seems to be going according to plan as he’s set to begin working his boxing again with Freddie Roach in the near future.
That’s good news for the UFC who are hoping he’ll be fit in time to fit interim champ Carlos Condit in the main event of UFC 154 in November.
