Homeless Brett Rogers Charged With Sexual Misconduct Against Men

Former Strikeforce and Bellator heavyweight fighter Brett Rogers life appears to have only got worse since he spent 60 days in jail for assaulting his now ex-wife back in 2011.

The latest word is that Rogers in now homeless in Minnesota and has been charged with three new crimes by three different men.

Back in November, Rogers is alleged to have groped a male employee while in an elevator at the George Latimer Central Library in St. Paul.

Then on January 4th, approached another man at a urinal and asked if he wanted to engage in a sexual act, before groping the man’s buttocks when he refused.

While Rogers was in jail in relation to the other charges, it’s alleged that Rogers then fondled a cellmate on two separate occasions while he was sleeping.

Rogers has been charged with two counts of fifth-degree sexual conduct and one count of interfering with someone’s privacy according to court documents, which also suggest that this may just be the tip of the iceberg, with Rogers having caused “many problems” in St. Paul over the course of the past few months.

Rogers increasingly bizarre behavior is a far cry from that of the blue-collar family man he was presented as prior to a breakthrough fight with Fedor Emelianenko in the Strikeforce organization back in 2009 which aired on CBS and peaked with 5,460,000 viewers.

Rogers was TKO’d in the second round that night, bringing an end to the 10-fight unbeaten start to his career, and he never fully bounced back after that.

Further losses to Alistair Overeem and Josh Barnett followed in the Strikeforce promotion and he was then released after being charged with attacking his wife.

A year later Rogers was given a second chance when Bellator signed him up, but within the space of just a few months he’d gone 1-1 in the organization and was then released.

Since then the 35 year-old has been competing on the regional circuit, but hasn’t fought since a TKO win back in December of 2015.
