Injury Forces Johnny Walker Out Of Jimmy Crute Fight At UFC 260

Johnny Walker has ben forced to pull out of a fight with Jimmy Crute at UFC 260 on March 27th after suffering an injury during his training camp.

The 28-year-old Walker has reportedly suffered a torn pectoral muscle and unfortunately it’s going to require surgery to fix, which rules him out of the fight.

Walker’s intended opponent, Crute, seems less than impressed with the news though and roasted Walker on social media, while also revealing that he might have landed an even bigger fight due to the call-off.

“A wise man called @danielkellyjudo once told me “in a sport that’s supposed to be full of tough guys you’d be surprised at how many pussies there are in this sport,” Crute write on Instagram. “Very true words. Disappointed that my opponent has ducked me yet again but I can’t say that I am surprised that being said I can’t express how excited and grateful I am that a true fighter has decided to step in and fight me. This is a better fight, better name and bigger challenge but I’m ready for it.

At this stage it’s not clear who this mystery fighter is, but given that Walker is currently ranked No.9 in the 205lb division, it seems likely that Crute is going to be facing another top-10 opponent as he looks to improve on his own position at No.12.
