Troubled MMA star Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller has pled guilty to almost a dozen different charges in Orange County resulting from numerous incidents over the past few years.
The 36-year-old former UFC fighter reached a plea deal in court that saw him admit his guilt on numerous charges including assaulting a peace officer, battery and resisting arrest, in return for receiving a sentence of three years probation and 100 days in jail.
However, Orange County Superior Court Judge Robert Fitzgerald gave Miller double credit for 50 days he’s already spent in jail, and as a result he’s now a free man.
That being said, ‘Mayhem’ now has two strikes on his record, and if he violates his probation again he could land himself in much more serious trouble.
“I take responsibility for my stupidity,” ‘Mayhem’ said after the verdict was handed down. “You can’t rough up the police with no consequences.”
“I’ll serve my time with my head held high,” he said. “I’ll straighten up and fly right.”
‘Mayhem’s’ attorney Cameron Talley also issued a statement, claiming that “The good news for Jason is that his life is back on track. He’s got his business back, and he’s traveling the world as a commentator.”
