A fight between Jeremy Stephens and Yves Edwards is in doubt for tonight’s UFC On FX 5 fight card after Stephens was arrested earier today.
Stephens was picked up by police at around 10.45am this morning on an out-of-state felony charge and it’s believed he’s being held without bail.
No more information on his charge is available at this time, however, UFC president Dana White has since posted on Twitter that Stephens will still be competing on the card.
That’s good news if it proves to be true, though it’s hardly the ideal fight-day preparation for stephens and it’ll be interesting to see whether it affects his performance.
