Joanna Jedrzejczyk Says She’s 99% Sure She’ll Coach TUF 23 Opposite Claudia Gadelha

While Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor have undoubtedly taken much of the spotlight in what’s been a banner year for the UFC, woman’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk has steadily been growing in popularity and it looks like she’ll now get a chance to shine on The Ultimate Fighter reality show.

Speaking during a fan Q&A in her native Poland the charismatic 28 year-old revealed that she’s 99% sure that she’ll be coaching TUF season 23 opposite her rival Claudia Gadelha.

Jedrzejczyk and Gadelha have fought before back in December of last year in an extremely close battle that ended with the Pole edging her way to victory via the narrowest of split decision margins, though some still believe that her Brazilian counterpart did just enough to defeat her.

The two also threw punches at each other after the final bell, so there’s undoubtedly bad blood between them which the UFC are no doubt hoping will lead to fireworks on the set of The Ultimate Fighter.

TUF 23 is expected to begin filming in April with a cast featuring light-heavyweight men plus either strawweight or bantamweight women.

If they are confirmed as coaches then the downside is that it would mean it’s likely to be sometime in the summer before these two do finally get a chance to settle their differences in the Octagon.
