Remember just a few weeks ago when we posted a story about Joe Rogan receiving his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt from Eddie Bravo? Well, it turns out getting one wasn’t enough for the UFC’s color commentator as he’s now been awarded another one.

“A great honor today – I received my black belt from the great Jean Jacques Machado,” Rogan told his followers on Twitter.

It actually makes sense when you realize that Machado was actually Rogan’s first BJJ teacher and he teaches using the Gi, while Bravo’s 10th Planet Jui-Jitsu is No-Gi.

For Rogan it’s also a good way to silence any doubters who may have been harboring any suspicions that his long-standing friendship with Bravo had anything to do with him being awarded his belt.
