Jon Anik And Joe Rogan Will Commentate At UFC On FOX Sports 1

UFC On FOX Sports 1 goes down on August 17th, the first night of the channel’s launch and it’s been announced that Jon Anik and Joe Rogan will commentate at the event.

Generally Jon Anik is assigned to commentary duties on the UFC’s FX and Fuel TV cards alongside Kenny Florian, while Joe Rogan provides color commentary with Mike Goldberg on the UFC’s PPV show and FOX cards, so this is a change from the norm.

A reason for this hasn’t been forthcoming so far,and it’s also not clear whether this will be a regular thing or not. My guess would be not – the reason Rogan only does the UFC’s big events these days is due to him being keen to cut back on the hectic travel schedule the job entails.

Meanwhile, it’s also been confirmed that Kenny Florian and Chael Sonnen will be in the studio for the show.

That’s signifcant as it rules out a rumored Sonnen Vs Wanderlei Silva for the FS1 event.
