In a new interview on the Inside MMA show Jon Fitch talks for the first time about his release from the UFC and his decision to sign a four fight deal with the up and coming World Series Of Fighting organization.
Fitch On his UFC release:
“It was a surprise but kind of not really…I’ve always felt there was some kind of issue between me and the UFC. I never understood what it was, but I never felt like they were happy with me.”
Fitch On Signing For WSOF:
“They’re gonna keep me busy. I should be able to easily fight 3-4 times a year, and if they don’t keep me busy I’ll be able to find work outside of that organization.”
