Conor McGregor KO’s Jose Aldo In Just 13 Seconds At UFC 194

Unbelievable stuff – Conor McGregor just KO’d Jose Aldo in 13 seconds at UFC 194 to become the new featherweight champion and back up everything he’s claimed he is since the day he arrived in the UFC.

Round One:

The most anticipated fight of the year to unify the featherweight title is here at last and officially underway!

McGregor with a quick straight left to start. Aldo charges forward looking to land a punch and McGregor catches him on the button with a left hook and Aldo goes face first to the mat! One hammerfist lands for McGregor, but it’s not even required, Aldo is out cold!! It’s all over already!!

Amazing. Aldo hadn’t been beaten in almost 10 years, but McGregor just stopped him in a matter of seconds with practically his first punch of the fight.

The hype is real, McGregor is the superstar the UFC have been craving and it will be fascinating to see what comes next from this remarkable new champion.

It’s unfortunate the fight didn’t go on longer though as after we’ve all thought long and hard about how these two would match up stylistically we didn’t really get to see how it would all play out in the end.  Nevertheless, it just highlights the beauty of the sport that anything can happen at any given moment and that’s what makes it so endlessly compelling to watch.
