Josh Koscheck is well known for his trash-talking antics and now that he’s signed up with Bellator he’s quickly turned his sights on his former UFC boss Dana White.
“How can you respect a guy that runs a company and goes on Twitter rants, who calls people all the names that he calls people?” Koscheck questioned in an interview with Bleacher Report. “I think it’s childish. He’s supposed to be the president of a major company, a billion dollar company, and that’s how he acts? You don’t see Roger Goodell doing things like that.
“And you won’t see Scott Coker going on Twitter and telling people they look goofy or fat. Or, ‘we got that many years out of you, thanks for your money.’ Come on. It’s embarrassing. I don’t want to work for a guy like that.
“This is just my opinion, but I think Dana is just the front boy for the Fertittas. He’s their little errand b*tch. They’re losing fans every day because of the things he does.”
Koscheck made a career out of his participation in the UFC, first emerging on The Ultimate Fighter season 1 after just two pro-fights and went on to fight for the promotion for 10 years, compiling a 15-10 record and unsuccessfully fighting for the welterweight title against GSP.
A major slump in form over the past three years, losing five fights in a row, led to White suggesting to him to that perhaps it was time to hang up his gloves, and clearly the 37 year-old hasn’t taken kindly to that idea.
Koscheck claims it was always his intention to step away from the UFC after his contract ended and has since signed with Bellator where he’s currently awaiting his first opponent.
