Kayla Harrison Among $1 Million Winners At PFL Finals

Kayla Harrison won PFL’s women’s lightweight tournament last night to pocket the $1 million prize money for the second year in a row.

Harrison once again put in a dominant performance, beating up her opponent Taylor Guardado on the mat for the best part of two rounds before transitioning to a fight-ending armbar.

Following her big win Harrison is now a free agent, with the rising star and former Olympic judo gold medalist being known to have a desire to compete against the best the UFC has to offer, though earlier this week Dana White had suggested she’d be better of staying with PFL rather than facing up to the likes of Amanda Nunes in the Octagon.

Meanwhile, Ray Cooper, Bruno Cappelozza, Movlid Khaybulaev, Antonio Carlos Junior and Raush Manfio also won their respective tournaments to also secure $1 million prizes, while women’s boxing ace Claressa Shields lost out by split decision to Abigail Montes in her second MMA fight.
