Kron Gracie made an immediate impression in his UFC debut tonight on ESPN, slickly bringing him to the mat and then sinking in a rear-naked choke submission.
Round One:
Caceres takes the center of the Octagon and lands a leg kick. Right hook attempt from Gracie. Nice left hand counter from Gracie puts his opponent on the back foot.
Gracie ducks under a punch, gets the body lock and moves to the back of Caceres as he patiently works for a takedown attempt against the cage.
Excellent takedown for Gracie, gets the body triangle and starts working for the rear-naked choke. Caceres trying to fight his hands, but Gracie is a master on the mat and he shows it as he gets his elbow deep underneather his opponent’s chin and squeezes tightly until he taps out with just 2.06mins of the first round gone!
