Kyle Kingsbury Suffered Multiple Eye And Nose Fractures Against Jimi Manuwa

Kyle Kingbsury took one of the worst beatings we’ve seen in quite a while last night at the hands of Jimi Manuwa at ‘UFC On Fuel TV 5’.

Known for his toughness, Kingsbury was rocked on several occasions by the debuting Manuwa, with the worst of it including a roundhouse kick and knee to the face, plus a thunderous right hook.

By the end of the second round Kingsbury’s left eye had swollen completely shut and so the ringside doctor had no option but to call an end to the contest.

Anybody who saw his face after the fight will not be surprised to hear that the 30 year-old sustained serious injuries during the fight, and it now looks as if he’ll be facing a long lay-off before he can get back to fighting again.

“Good stoppage. Although I wanted a 3rd round, MRI just confirmed multiple fractures above the eye and nose,” Kingsbury told his followers on Twitter after the fight.
