Despite his defeat against Jim Miller at UFC 155, Joe Lauzon has been hailed as a hero for his never-say-die attitude which resulted in him fighting on for the full 15 minutes despite having endured a first round beating that left him completely soaked in blood from several nasty looking cuts.

In his latest video blog Lauzon gives a behind-the-scenes look at the build-up and aftermath of what would turn out to be the ‘Fight Of The Night’, including his grizzly backstage medical work as the UFC’s doctor applies 40 stitches to his facial wounds.

During his UFC career Lauzon has picked up a remarkable 12 bonus awards and has established himself as a fan favorite both for his exciting performances inside the Octagon, and his unassuming, down-to-earth manner outside of it.
