Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold will look to defend his title against Tim Kennedy on July 14th in Portland.
Rockhold won the title against Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza last year and already has won successful defence against Keith Jardine to his credit, taking his overall career record to 9-1.
For Kennedy this will mark his second attempt to claim the title after losing out by decision to Jacare in 2010. Since then he’s racked up wins over Melvin Manhoef and Robbie Lawler to fight his way back to the belt.
Also newly announced for the Portland event is another middleweight fight between Robbie Lawler and Lorenz Larkin, while we already confirmed earlier this week that Keith Jardine Vs Roger Gracie will also feature on the show.
