Mackenzie Dern next fight will be against Nina Ansaroff at an upcoming UFC event on April 10th.
Dern comes into the fight having racked up a trio of wins in 2020, beginning with a first round submission victory over Hannah Cifers in May.
The BJJ ace continued that good form in September as she claimed another submission victory via armbar against Randa Markos, and followed that up with a decision win against Virna Jandiroba earlier this month.
In total, Dern has compiled a 5-1 run during her time in the UFC so far, with her only loss coming back in October of last year by decision against Amanda Ribas, and as such she’s currently ranked at No.11 in the strawweight division.
Now Dern will go up against Ansaroff, who is returning to action for the first time since giving birth to her first child with two-weight champion Amanda Nunes.
Before her pregnancy, Ansaroff had suffered a unanimous decision loss to Tatiana Suarez, bringing an end to an impressive four-fight winning streak that had including emerging victorious against the likes of Angela Hill, Randa Markos and Claudia Gadelha.
