Martin Bravo TKO’d Claudio Pulles after dropping him with a liver shot tonight at UFC Fight Night 98 to become the winner of TUF Latin America season 3.
Round One:
Bravo with an immediate leg kick. RIght hand for Puelles. Leg kick for Puelles. Single leg takedown attempt for him, but it doesn’t work out.
Body kick for Bravo. Now with the 1-2. He lands a leg kick and Puelles tries to fire off one in return. Takedown stuffed by Puelles.
Bravo with a clipping right hand. Left hand now and then a hard right. Bravo pushing the pace here as expected and finding a home for his punches, bloodying ‘El Nino’s’ nose.
Puelles working for a takedown, but Bravo stays upright. Again Puelles works for a single-leg and this time does get Bravo down.
Bravo back up with Puelles trying to take his back, but he defends from that and gets back to striking range.
Spinning back kick grazes Bravo’s midsection. Body kick for Puelles. Bravo with a three-piece combo as he tries to turn this into a slug-fest.
Left hook for Bravo then a right behind it than snaps his opponents head back in the closing seconds of the round.
Round Two:
Head kick attempted blocked from Puelles. Body punch for Bravo. Body kick for Puelles as Bravo misses with a few punches.
Bravo knocks Puelles to the mat for a moment. He gets back upright and Bravo continues to apply pressure. Short series of punches close to the cage from him now.
Leg kick for Bravo. Puelles in on a single-leg, but Bravo stays upright. Solid body shots for Bravo here and the liver shot hurts Puelles, who suddenly crumples to the mat.
A few ground and pound shots follow, but that’s not even needed. Puelles has had enough and Bravo gets the TKO victory to become the new Latin ‘Ultimate Fighter’ winner.
