Mateusz Gamrot made short work of Jeremy Stephens tonight at UFC ON ESPN 26, countering an early kimura attempt with one of his own that led to the tapout finish.
Round One:
Gamrot throws a punch and then ducks into a low single leg. He gets it and has Stephens down early in the opening round.
Stephens trying to work a kimura from his back, but Gamrot counters with his own kimura attempt. He’s actually got this locked in nicely and starts to crank it behind Stephens back and that forces a frantic tapout from the veteran at just 1.05mins of the opening round!
