Matt Riddle And Francisco Rivera Suspended After Positive Drug Tests Following UFC 149

UFC fighters Matt Riddle and Francisco Rivera have each been suspended for 90 days after testing positive for banned drugs following their fights at UFC 149 in July.

Riddle was found to have marijuana in his system after his win over Chris Clements on the main card of the show, while Rivera tested positive for an undisclosed over-the-counter stimulant following his first round KO victory over Roland Delorme on the preliminary card which aired on FX.

It’s not yet been disclosed whether either man will have their victories overturned due to their positive tests.

Since the suspensions take place from the day of the fight both Riddle and Rivera are in fact eligible to fight again as of today.
