Melvin Guillard Given Two Years Probation For Assault

Melvin Guillard managed to avoid a jail sentence yesterday for an assault charge stemming back to 2010.

Instead, ‘The Young Assassin’ was given two years probation and 40 hours of community service.

Guillard claims he was the one who was assaulted by multiple assailants including five security guards, but the court had ruled him guilty of two counts of aggravated battery which could have lead to a year in jail if the setence hadn’t been suspended.

Now Guillard can concentrate on fighting inside the cage and he’s got a must-win fight against Mac Danzig at ‘UFC On FOX 8’ next month as he looks to save his spot in the promotion after slumping to a 1-4 recent record in the Octagon.
