Up-and-coming prospect Mickey Gall’s next visit to the Octagon will takes place opposite Randy Brown at UFC 217 in Madison Square Garden on November 4th.
Gall first came to light when he called out CM Punk on the mic after a victory on the ‘Dana White: Lookin’ For A Fight’ YouTube series.
White liked that idea and signed the 1-0 Gall to fight the former pro-wrestling star in the UFC for his debut last year.
However, first Gall made his debut in the Octagon against Mike Jackson and submitted him in just 45 seconds to make it clear that Punk was in for a tough night when they locked horns.
That’s how it turned out in September of last year as Gall easily took down Punk in a matter of seconds and tapped him out with a rear-naked choke in less than half a round.
The 25-year-old Gall has since racked up another rear-naked choke victory over fellow ‘Lookin’ For a Fight’ alumn Sage Northcutt.
now he looks to go 4-0 in the Octagon against the 27-year-old Brown, who has gone 3-2 in his UFC run to date and is coming off a loss to Belal Muhammed last time out at UFC 208 in February.
Gall Vs Brown is expected to feature on the preliminary portion of the stacked UFC 217 card, which features no less than three title fights – including Georges St-Pierre’s return against middleweight champion Michael Bisping, bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt Vs TJ Dillashaw and women’s strawweight titleholder Joanna Jedrzejczyk Vs Rose Namajunas.
