While all attention is currently focused on the UFC’s first ever woman’s fight at UFC 157 later this month, the promotion have finally gone ahead and added another female bout to their upcoming calender.
Former Strikeforce 135lb champion Miesha Tate has been drawn up against Cat Zingano in a fight that will take place at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale on April 13th.
Tate is one of the most high profile female fighters in the sport and rebounded from losing her title early in 2012 to Ronda Rousey with a win over Julie Kedzie last August to take her career record to 13-3.
Meanwhile, Zingano is currently unbeaten in her seven fight career with her most recent win coming at all-female promotion Invicta FC’s third event in October.
