Myles Jury TKO’s Takanori Gomi In 92 Seconds At UFC Fight Night 52

Myles Jury earned another big win in the UFC’s lightweight division at UFC Fight Night 52 today, stopping Takanori Gomi early in the first round by TKO after dropping him with a right hand.

Round One:

Jury with a leg kick to start. He lands a high kick to the upper body. A front kick flicks out now as he looks to settle into the fight. Gomi wings a punch that misses.

Jury using his movement well. Gomi presses forward and Jury looks for a takedown attempt, but it’s easily defended.

Suddenly a big right hand from Jury cracks Gomi on the chin and drops him to the mat. He tries to stand, but he’s been wobbled and Jury follows him down and lands a few ground and pound strikes. Gomi’s just covering up and so this fight is over, Jury wins by TKO with just 1.32mins on the clock!
