UFC woman’s bantamweight star Paige VanZant made a big impression on the latest episode of Dancing With The Stars, despite her professional dance partner, Mark Ballas having to bow out of the competition on just two hours notice due to a back injury.
VanZant took it in her stride though, wowing the judges with her stand-in partner, Alan Bersten during ‘Latin Night’ on the show, which led to them receiving the joint highest score on the night, with all three judges scoring their performance an ‘8’, for a total of 24 points.
That ensured that PVZ was safe from being elminated, with talk show host Geraldo Rivera becoming the first to be booted off the show.
Despite her current focus being on DWTS, VanZant continues to also juggle her MMA training into her hectic schedule, and is hopeful that she will be able to fight within a few months after her run on the show concludes
Despite being one of the least well known celebrities on the show, the 21 year-old VanZant is currently one of the betting favorites to win the competition, partly thanks to the fact that she’s dancing for much of her life.
