Paige VanZant Scores Highly On Latest Dancing With The Stars

The UFC’s own Paige VanZant got groovy baby on the latest edition of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ as she burned up the dancefloor to ‘Soul Bossa Nova’ from the movie, ‘Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery’ last night.

PVZ and her dance partner Mark Ballas actually had to change their dance and music at the lost minute due to legal complications, but they took it all in their stride and VanZant again turned out to be a hit with the judges, with one even dishing out a perfect ’10’ score, for a total of 28/30.

With both UFC president Dana White and former fighter Chael Sonnen cheering on PVZ from the audience, that was good enough for 2nd place on the night, behind Boys II Men’s Wayna Morris who secured the top spot with an impressive 29/30.

Worryingly for PVZ, despite her great run on the show so far, she found herself as one of three contestants at risk of elimination based on viewer votes for their last couple of performances along with judges scores.

However, on this occasion VanZant survived the cut, with former NFL star Dougie Flutie getting the boot instead.

So, VanZant moves on to the seventh episode of the show as one of the eight remaining contestants.
