UFC superstar Ronda Rousey is gearing up to make her acting debut in ‘The Expendables 3’ right now, and she’s already got her next major movie role lined up.
The word out of Hollywood is that Rousey has now been targeted for a role in another major action-movie franchise, ‘The Fast & The Furious 7’.
At this stage the UFC woman’s bantamweight champion is only in negotiations to appear in the latest sequel though in what’s believed to be a supporting role.
If she agrees to it that would mean that she would complete her acting work in both movies prior to entering her fight camp for her upcoming title defense against Miesha Tate which has been scheduled as the co-main event of the end-of-year UFC 168 event in Las Vegas.
Rousey would be following in the footsteps of Gina Carano who appeared in the last installment of ‘The Fast & The Furious’ series this year and the big concern for UFC bosses now will be that like her, Rousey may eventually decide that the glamour, fame and bright lights of Hollywood are more appealing than the blood, sweat and tears to be found inside the cage.
