Ronda Rousey To Coach New Male And Female Season Of The Ultimate Fighter

During tonight’s UFC 158 prelims on FX UFC President Dana White made a special announcement regarding the next season of The Ultimate Fighter.

The first part of the announcement was that female star and current woman’s champion Ronda Rousey will coach the season opposite the winner of the Miesha Tate Vs Cat Zingano fight which takes place at the TUF Finale next month.

That in itself will make it a history making season, but on top of that, for the first time there will be both a male and a female group of competitors both competing in separate 135lb tournaments and living together in the TUF house.

That’s a big one-two punch of an announcement and is certainly sure to spice up the coming season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’.

Whether it’s enticing enough for the show to remain on FX or move to FOX Sports 1 remains to be seen though, with Dana White revealing after the event that no decision ha been made on that yet.
