A major welterweight match-up between Rory MacDonald and Jake Ellenberger has been confirmed for ‘UFC On FOX 8’ on July 27th.
MacDonald was originally supposed to have had a rematch with Carlos Condit at UFC 158 last month, but had to pull out due to an injury.
Currently riding a four fight winning streak, MacDonald has looked very impressive of late and still just 23 years of age, he’s being widely tipped to be the future of the division.
Meanwhile, Ellenberger has also been making a big impact in the division, with an 8-2 overall record including a big KO win over Nate Marquardt last month.
MacDonald vs Ellenberger is the only fight confirmed for the Seattle show so far aside from Melvin Guillard Vs Mac Danzig.
