Salahdine Parnasse made his UFC debut in style tonight in the main event of UFC Fight Night 287 by KO’ing Dan Hooker in the opening round after hurting him with a body kick and then finishing him with a hard left hook.

Round One

The lightweight main event is underway in Paris!

Hooker takes the center of the Octagon and fires off an early head kick attempt that misses. His leg kick doesn’t land either as Parnasse moves out of range.

Leg kick from Parnasse and then checks one coming in return from Hooker. Solid inside leg kick from Parnasse.

Outside leg kick from Hooker. Parnasse checking more leg kicks and landing his own.

Body kick from Hooker. Parnasse gets a right hand through. He tries for a head kick that misses and then aggressively fires off a few punches.

Big body kick from Parnasse goes direct to the liver and Hooker is clearly hurt as he hunches over for a moment grimacing and then tries to fight through the pain while backing up. Parnasse goes in for the finish, grazing his face with a head kick attempt, before sinking him to the canvas with a hard left hook to secure a KO finish at 2:35mins of the first round.
