Several Fights Announced For UFC On FOX 7 And UFC On Fuel TV 9

The UFC have added several fights to the line-ups of their upcoming April events ‘UFC On FOX 7’ and ‘UFC On Fuel TV 9’.

First up, continuing the trend of putting ex-Strikeforce fighters on April 20th’s ‘UFC On FOX 7’ show, the promotion’s former lightweight No.1 contender Jorge Masvidal will take on Tim Means who’s 2-0 in the UFC so far.

Another Strikeforce veteran Roger Bowling will also be on the card, dropping down to the lightweight division for a challenging debut against Anthony Njokuani.

These bouts will likely take place in the prelims, while other Strikeforce stars like Gilbert Melendez, Daniel Cormier and Josh Thomson have previously been announced for main card bouts.

Moving on to the UFC’s return to Sweden on April 9th for ‘UFC On Fuel TV 9’, one of Dana White’s favorite fighters Brad Pickett will take on Mike Easton in a featherweight scrap with both men looking to bounce back from a defeat last time out.

Meanwhile TUF 14 competitor Marcus Brimage will face off against debuting Irish contender Conor McGregor.

These newly announced bouts will help compliment ‘UFC On Fuel TV 9’s’ already confirmed main event, a light-heavyweight dust up between Alexander Gustafsson and Gegard Mousasi.
