Rumors are emerging that Glover Teixeira Vs Ryan Bader and Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza Vs Yushin Okami are two fights being lined up for September’s ‘UFC On FOX Sports 1 #3’ event.
Teixeira and Bader were originally scheduled to fight at UFC 160, but the fight was scrapped after Bader fell injured. Teixeira faced James Te Huna instead and dispatched him in typically impressive fashion by first round guillotine choke.
He’s now 4-0 in the UFC and is on a 19 fight winning streak overall, while Bader’s won three out of his last four bouts and is 8-3 in the UFC overall.
Former Strikeforce middleweight champion ‘Jacare’ Souza has made an immediate impact in his brief UFC career, submitting Chris Camozzi in the first round to take his unbeaten run to four fights.
Okami could prove to be one of his toughest tests to date though and is on a three fight winning streak of his own, most recently earning a decision win over Hector Lombard.
The UFC On FS1 #3 card looks like it’s off to a good start with these two bouts and it’s likely both will feature prominently on the main card on September 4th.
