The Korean Zombie KO’s Dennis Bermudez In First Round At UFC Fight Night 104

‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung returned to the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 104 in style with a devastating uppercut knocking out Dennis Bermudez in the first round.

Round One:

The main event of the evening is underway in Houston, Texas.

Leg kick for Jung. Push kick for Bermudez and then threatens with an overhand before trying for a takedown that’s stuffed.

The Korean Zombie working a few punches. Jab for Bermudez. TKZ trying to clinch up, but Bermudez gets free.

Huge punch from Bermudez hurts Jung, but they clinch up and he has time to recover. Back to striking and Bermudez connects with another couple of big punches.

Bermudez moves into another takedown attempt, but The Korean Zombie is able to stuff it again.

Bermudez tags Jung again, but seconds later The Korean Zombie lands a blistering uppercut that drops his opponent hard to the canvas. Bermudez is all but out and the referee rushes in to end the fight.

Huge win for The Korean Zombie then, showcasing both his chin and his striking prowess, but it’s all the more impressive when you consider that not only has he just spent two year doing military service in his native South Korea, but it’s also been three and a half years since he last set foot in the Octagon.
