Tom Aspinall continued his winning streak in impressive fashion tonight at UFC Fight Night 191 with a first round TKO of Sergey Spivak.
Round One:
Snapping jab from Aspinall. He throw a one-two without landing cleanly. He’s taking the center of the cage here and is closing down Spivak. He lands a clean punch.
Spivak with the jab. Left hook for Aspinall. One-two for him. He switches stance and then lands a body punch.
Spivak attempts to get into the clinch and work a takedown, but Aspinall stuffs it. They remain in the clinch with Spivak still working for the takedown, but Aspinall suddenly cracks him with a knee to the body and then a heavy elbow, which sends his opponent falling backwards to the mat.
Aspinall wades in and lands big ground and pound and forces a quick TKO stoppage at 2.30mins of the opening round here that leaves Spivak dazed and bloodied.
