Episode 8 of ‘The Ultimate Fighter 17’ drew an average of 1.12 million viewers on FX this past Tuesday night.
That’s the lowest audience of the season so far, though only by 20,000 viewers.
At this stage it’s still not clear what’s going to happen to TUF from next season onwards. Recently UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta indicated that a decision is still to be made on whether the show remains on FX or is switched to FOX Sports 1 when it launches in August.
Therefore the TV ratings for the remainder of the season could still have an important bearing on the show’s future.
