The Ultimate Fighter 16’s TV ratings on FX are currently in freefall despite the season barely having started.
The third episode which aired on Friday night drew just 775,000 viewers, a drop of 97,000 compared to the previous week.
In addition it pulled a 0.5 ratings amongst adults 18-49, which was still good enough for fourth place for that demographic in it’s time slot.
Considering that last season was considered a low point for the long-running series yet it managed to pull in 1.2 million viewers in it’s third season it shows you just how far things have fallen since then.
When this season was first announced Dana White said that if it didn’t prove to be a success then FX had indicated they would move it out of it’s less-than-desirable Friday night slot in the schedule, but as things stand it’s hard to see them taking a risk and putting the show on a more popular night.
