We’re just days removed from the latest scintillating performance from the world’s best fighter Anderson Silva at UFC 153, and now the hype is beginning for the return of the sport’s biggest draw, welterweight champion Georges St.Pierre at UFC 154 in November.
After a rough spell with injuries it’ll no doubt be a relief for the UFC to be able to get their ducks lined up in a row like this, and it’ll only continue to fuel the interest in a blockbuster superfight between these two pound-for-pound greats.
First things first though, GSP has to unify his 170lb title against current interim champion Carlos Condit, and that’s a significant challenge for him, particularly after being out on the sidelines for over a year.
