The UFC 191 medical suspensions report has been released and shows a few fighters could be facing up to six months on the sidelines due to injuries they sustained during their fights in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Both heavyweight co-main event stars Andrei Arlovski and Frank Mir have potential broken right hands after their 15 minute fight, but were awaiting conformation via x-rays on the night.
Despite winning his fight on the main card, former TUF winner Corey Anderson may require dental work due to having loose teeth which could also keep him out of action for a six month stretch.
Following her loss, Alex Chambers was diagnosed with a potential left knee ACL injury and indeed she’s since confirmed on social media that she had blew her knee out in the second round of the fight which is likely to keep her out of action for a lengthy period of time.
Further down the card, Joaquim Silva has a potential orbital fracture and Joe Riggs also requires a CT scan of his facial bones which may mean six month suspensions for both competitors depending on the results.
