Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 40 the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 fighter bonus awards were announced.
Matt ‘The Immortal’ Brown ran the show in Cincinatti with his stellar main event showing and as such he was handsomely rewarded with two different bonus awards.
Brown’s three round war with Erick Silva, as good as anything we’ve seen so far this year, deservedly scooped up ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors, while Brown also picked up an additional ‘Performance Of The Night’ cheque too, giving him a $100,000 boost to his bank balance overall.
The other ‘Performance Of The Night’ award was handed to Johnny Eduardo who produced the biggest win over his career on the night with a first round stoppage victory over Eddie Wineland.
